What HighLevel is built around

A machine for winning clients. Keep it for that.

HighLevel describes itself as “the all-in-one sales & marketing platform that agencies can white-label and resell to their clients!” Its pricing page says who each priced plan is for: Starter is “Perfect for smaller businesses and solo marketers”, Unlimited “Built for growing agencies”, and Agency Pro “Ideal for SaaSPRENEURs & Agencies looking to go SaaS”.

It has the tools for winning clients at volume: texting and calling, reviews, a social planner, funnels and the workflows that run them, and WhatsApp as a paid add-on. There is no texting anywhere in TalentCafe. That is a real gap if your clients text you, and it is also why there is no A2P registration here.

Where the two part ways

The same practice, run on each.

Whose account it is, what moves the bill, what the AI is for and who answers. HighLevel’s side is drawn from its own pages, linked below.

On HighLevel

  • The practice is a sub-account

Plans are counted in sub-accounts: 3 on Starter, unlimited above it. Contacts and users are unlimited on every plan.

  • Usage is paid from a wallet

Its pricing page lists usage charges for phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage. “The Agency Wallet is used to pay for usage-based services in HighLevel.”

  • AI Employee is priced per sub-account

$50 or $97 a month per enabled location, HighLevel’s word for a sub-account. The $97 tier “Includes unlimited usage across Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI, and Content AI”, subject to fair use. A location on neither pays per use, at token cost, and some of HighLevel’s AI is free within fair use.

  • Support runs through the agency

“Only Agency Admins/Users Can Access HighLevel Support.” If an agency set up your account, that agency is your support. If you bought HighLevel directly, you are the agency admin, with live chat at any hour and Zoom support rooms.

On TalentCafe

  • One plan, nothing above it

Every feature is on the one plan, with no higher tier to upgrade to.

  • Nothing is billed by use

Not emails sent, not AI recaps. Using it more does not change the bill.

  • The recap and the drafts are in the plan

It writes the recap and drafts the development plan, the course, the membership and the newsletter. None of it is counted on the paid plan.

  • Support is the people who built it

Three people in the United States, with no support tier between you and the person who wrote the code.

The hour itself

Nobody hired you to build funnels.

They hired you for the hour and what follows it.

  • Book the series once

A weekly session recurs on your calendar. Clients booking themselves see only the times your working hours, buffers and minimum notice allow. Reminders go out without you.

  • Google or Outlook, both ways

Your sessions land on your own calendar, and what is already there blocks the time.

  • Video, phone or in person

The invitation carries the link, the call instructions or the address. A video session runs past its scheduled end if you need it to.

  • The recap, from the room

Captions run from the first word. The recap draws on the room’s own transcript and the notes you chose to share. Your private notes feed a separate summary that is never sent to the client.

  • A plan between sessions

Draft it with AI and assign it. The client ticks tasks off in their portal, which costs them nothing and also holds their sessions, the recaps you share and any course or community they are in.

  • Beyond the hour, on the same plan

Courses ending in a certificate in your name, paid memberships, group programs and events, sold through your own Stripe account, plus newsletters, sequences and lead pages. The AI drafts; nothing goes out until you say so.

“I was honestly wondering why is so cheap. You get a lot for your money.”
Ted Bliefnick, Toptal

Getting paid

The payment lands in your Stripe account.

Invoices carry your name, and replies come to you. Contracts go out from your own template with the client and the package’s service, number of sessions, fee and deposit filled in, and everyone who needs to sign signs online.

You keep what you charge. A client’s payment is charged on your own Stripe account, and Stripe bills its processing fee directly at its own rate. We do not add to it and we do not take a cut.

Moving in

Bring your clients. Leave the texting in HighLevel.

Day one is an afternoon. Export your contacts as a CSV and drop the file in; the AI says which column is which and flags what it is unsure of. The contacts move. The funnels, workflows, message history and the number clients text stay in HighLevel.

  • Show the columns before you export

HighLevel’s export holds only the columns visible in its Contacts table, and no past emails or SMS logs. Each sub-account exports separately.

  • Undo the import for 72 hours

If the HighLevel file maps badly, one button puts it back. There is no HighLevel preset, but the layout is remembered for next time.

  • Keep HighLevel for the number they text

There is no texting here, so that number cannot come across. HighLevel deletes phone numbers and A2P registrations 14 days after you cancel your own subscription; if an agency deletes your sub-account, they go with it.

“TalentCafe replaced our SaaS stack with a single, secure, AI-powered platform that didn’t require much setup. Pretty cool.”

What it costs

$199 a month, and nothing billed by use.

One plan, month to month, or $159 a month paid yearly, $1,908 billed once. Every feature is on it.

HighLevel’s Starter plan is $97 a month, $102 a month less than ours, or $970 a year, $938 a year less than ours. Unlimited is $297 a month and Agency Pro $497.

The rest is usage, and HighLevel says so plainly: “Your subscription covers the platform features, but there are usage-based costs for telecommunications and AI services, which are standard across the industry.” Every line is disclosed, and each grows with use: texts, calls, emails sent, premium AI. Ours does not.

  • Free for 14 days, no card

Then a free tier with up to 3 active clients and 10 AI summaries a month, holding everything you put in; sending session invitations needs the paid plan. HighLevel’s academy page says: “HighLevel trial requires a valid credit card for activation.”

  • Month to month, on both sides

HighLevel’s pricing page says it has no long-term contracts either.

The questions a HighLevel customer asks.

Is HighLevel cheaper than TalentCafe?

At its entry plan, yes. As of September 21, 2026, HighLevel’s Starter plan is $97 a month, $102 a month less than ours, or $970 a year, $938 a year less than ours. Starter includes 3 sub-accounts and, like every HighLevel plan, unlimited contacts and users. HighLevel’s pricing page also lists usage-based charges for phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage. TalentCafe is one plan at $199 a month, or $1,908 a year, and nothing on it is billed by use.

Does TalentCafe text or call my clients?

No. There is no SMS, WhatsApp or phone system anywhere in TalentCafe, and so no A2P registration either. HighLevel has all three, so if texting and calling are how you win clients, keep HighLevel for that. A TalentCafe session can still be a phone call, with the call instructions in the invitation. Invitations, reminders and invoices reach clients by email.

I already use HighLevel Meetings. How do sessions work on TalentCafe?

HighLevel’s Meetings runs in the browser on a reusable link; its help center says “you create one link and use it across multiple sessions — whether that's a single consultation or a year-long coaching series.” On TalentCafe everyone you invite gets their own invitation, for a single session or a whole series, and joins from the link in it, with nothing to install. Captions run from the first word, and when the call ends a recap is written from the room’s own transcript and the notes you chose to share. You decide whether the client sees it.

Do I have to leave HighLevel?

No. You can keep HighLevel for texting, calling and funnels, and run the sessions, recaps and plans on TalentCafe, paying TalentCafe’s $199 a month on top of your HighLevel bill. Nothing syncs between them: your contacts come across as a CSV, and a client HighLevel wins later is added by hand, in the next CSV, or automatically when they book through your TalentCafe booking page. If your clients book online and hear from you by email, there may be nothing left in HighLevel to keep.

My HighLevel account came through an agency. How do I leave?

HighLevel’s billing help says: “If you purchased access through another agency rather than directly from HighLevel, contact that agency’s administrator for subscription changes or cancellations.” Export before you ask: contacts download as a CSV one sub-account at a time, with only the columns visible in the Contacts table, and HighLevel’s export help says “Only Admin Users Can Export Contacts.” If you are not an admin there, ask the agency for the file first. If the agency deletes your sub-account, HighLevel’s help center says “Deleting a sub-account is a permanent action after 24 hours”, and its phone numbers and A2P campaigns go with it. TalentCafe reads the CSV and matches its columns for you.

Who answers when something goes wrong on TalentCafe?

The people who built it. TalentCafe is a three-person company in the United States, and there is no support tier between you and the person who wrote the code you are asking about. We cannot speak for HighLevel’s support, so we will not.

Start with the clients you already have on HighLevel.

Export the CSV this afternoon and drop it in. 14 days, no card, and nothing on HighLevel has to change until you are sure. If the practice does not run better here, you have spent an afternoon and nothing else.
